Variable Speed (VSD) Rotary Screw Air Compressors, 10-75 HP
What a variable speed (VSD) rotary screw compressor is A variable speed drive (VSD) rotary screw air compressor changes its motor speed to match the air your shop is drawing at that moment, instead of running flat out and cycling on and off. Every compressor here is a PM VSD screw compressor: a permanent-magnet motor on the same shaft as the airend, run by an inverter, rated for 100% duty cycle at up to 145 PSI. The saving comes from the hours your shop uses less than full air. AERO rates these units at up to 35% lower energy use than fixed speed, depending on your demand profile, running hours and energy prices. A shop at full load all shift gains less. Standalone compressor or All-in-One package? A standalone unit is the compressor only: airend, motor, inverter, controller and enclosure, with a G3/4" to G2" outlet. You add the receiver, dryer and filters. Buy standalone when you already own a tank and dryer, want a larger tank or a remote dryer, are piping a central system, or need 40 to 75 HP. Buy an All-in-One package for the compressor, refrigerated dryer and ASME tank on one frame, 10 to 30 HP. No 3-phase service? See the 5.5 and 7.5 HP single-phase models. The seven models, 10 to 75 HP CFM is at 100 PSI; every model reaches 145 PSI and needs 3-phase power. What every unit includes Direct-drive rotary screw airend and oil-cooled permanent-magnet motor on one shaft: no belts, no couplings, no gears INOVANCE inverter, the variable speed drive, standard on every unit MAM6080 touchscreen controller with WiFi and real-time monitoring IP54 enclosure; every panel lifts off on quarter-turn latches SKF bearings, Saint-Gobain oil seals, Schneider Electric contactors The PM motor is about 10% more efficient than an asynchronous motor. CTA multi-stage filtration is an option on each model. What you add An ASME air receiver, 80 to 260 gallons, stores air for peak draws. A refrigerated air dryer, sized by compressor horsepower from 42 to 370 CFM, takes the water out before it reaches your tools or paint. Line filters after the dryer catch oil and particles. Ask us to match all three. Lead time, freight and financing In-stock machines ship in 2 business days; each product page shows current stock. The VSD75 is quoted per shop. Freight is free to commercial addresses in the continental US; these are LTL shipments. Financing from $5,000 is available through PEAC Solutions: apply online, or request a quote and we will size the compressor, tank and dryer with you.

Industrial Refrigerated Air Dryers for Compressors
What a refrigerated air dryer does An industrial refrigerated air dryer cools compressed air so the water vapor in it condenses and drains out before the air reaches your lines. Without one, that water ends up in the hose, the tool and the paint. AERO dryers hold a 36 to 50°F pressure dew point, drain condensate automatically and carry antifreeze protection for the refrigeration circuit. All five run on 220V single-phase power, so the dryer does not need a 3-phase feed even when the compressor does. Who it is for Body shops and paint booths, where water in the line ruins paint. Repair shops, tire service and woodworking, where it corrodes tools and overloads filters. CNC, fabrication and light manufacturing, where it causes inconsistent machine performance. These dryers are for stand-alone compressors: every AERO All-in-One system already includes a refrigerated dryer on the frame. How to choose Each dryer is matched to a compressor horsepower range, named in its title. Pick the one whose range includes your compressor; inlet air temperature and ambient temperature also affect drying. 42 CFM dryer: for 7.5 to 10 HP compressors, G3/4" outlet. Quoted per shop. 84 CFM dryer: for 15 to 20 HP compressors, G1" outlet. $2,875. 127 CFM dryer: for 25 to 30 HP compressors, G1" outlet. $2,950. 230 CFM dryer: for 40 to 50 HP compressors, G1-1/2" outlet. $3,975. 370 CFM dryer: for 75 HP compressors, G2" outlet. Quoted per shop. Not sure of your compressor's CFM? Read how to size an air compressor, or request a quote and we will match the dryer. What is included Refrigerated air dryer, 42 to 370 CFM by model 36 to 50°F pressure dew point, automatic condensate removal, antifreeze protection 220V single-phase power on every model Threaded air outlet: G3/4", G1", G1-1/2" or G2" by model Install it with an air receiver, filtration, a drain line and bypass piping for service access. ASME Air Receiver Tanks, 80 to 260 Gallons
What an ASME air receiver tank is An ASME air receiver tank is a steel pressure vessel, built and stamped to the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section VIII, that stores compressed air between the compressor and the shop. AERO offers three vertical air receivers of 80, 130 and 260 gallons, all rated for 145 PSI. With a rotary screw compressor the tank does three jobs. It holds reserve air for peak demand, so pressure holds when several tools run at once. It reduces short cycling when sized to the system. And the air cools in the tank, so part of its water drops out and leaves through the drain port instead of reaching the dryer and air lines. Who it is for Shops that run a standalone compressor: auto body and mechanical repair, tire service, woodworking, fabrication, CNC and manufacturing. Also anyone adding storage to an existing compressor room or building a system around a standalone compressor and dryer. If you are buying an AERO All-in-One, you do not need a tank: every All-in-One already has an ASME receiver on the frame. How to choose a size Pick the tank by the air demand of the shop, not by compressor horsepower alone. 80-gallon air receiver: 145 PSI, 1" NPT inlet and outlet, 1/2" NPT safety valve port, 1/2" NPT drain. Small shops, garages and light commercial air systems. $1,550. 130-gallon air receiver: 145 PSI, 1-1/2" NPT inlet and outlet, 3/4" NPT safety valve port, 1/2" NPT drain. Professional shops with medium air demand. $2,750. 260-gallon air receiver: 145 PSI, 1-1/2" NPT inlet and outlet, 3/4" NPT safety valve port, 1/2" NPT drain. Industrial shops and higher-demand air systems. $3,850. More storage helps most where demand comes in bursts. For a gallon figure matched to your CFM, read how to size an air compressor or request a quote. What is included Vertical ASME Section VIII air receiver, 145 PSI maximum working pressure NPT inlet and outlet, safety valve port and 1/2" NPT condensate drain port, sized as listed for each tank Works with rotary screw and piston compressors, refrigerated dryers, filtration and shop air lines Lead time, freight and financing In-stock tanks ship in 2 business days as LTL freight, free to commercial addresses in the continental US. Prices run from $1,550 to $3,850, so a tank alone is under the $5,000 financing minimum; a tank ordered with a compressor or dryer can qualify for financing through PEAC Solutions.
