Shipping Policy
This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through the AERO Pressure Systems website, by quote, by invoice, by purchase order, or through direct communication with AERO Pressure Systems.
Overview
AERO Pressure Systems sells industrial and commercial equipment, including air compressors, air dryers, tanks, maintenance products, replacement parts, accessories, and related equipment.
Free standard shipping may apply to eligible orders within the continental United States. Delivery method, transit time, and freight requirements vary depending on the product, destination, carrier, and order type.
By placing an order, you agree to this Shipping Policy.
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed after payment approval, purchase order approval, or another accepted payment arrangement.
Processing time may vary depending on:
- Product availability
- Order size
- Freight requirements
- Carrier scheduling
- Special handling requirements
- Address verification
- Payment verification
- Backorder status
- Supplier availability
We reserve the right to delay, hold, or cancel an order if payment cannot be verified, shipping information is incomplete, freight service is unavailable, fraud is suspected, or the order cannot be fulfilled.
2. Shipping Methods
Depending on the product, we may ship by:
- Parcel carrier
- LTL freight
- Truck freight
- Local delivery
- Distributor delivery
- Customer pickup, if approved in writing
Small parts, filters, maintenance kits, and accessories may ship by parcel carrier.
Compressors, air dryers, tanks, and palletized equipment usually ship by freight carrier.
3. Free Standard Shipping
AERO Pressure Systems offers free standard shipping within the continental United States on eligible orders. Free standard shipping may include parcel shipping or standard freight delivery, depending on the product, destination, order size, and carrier requirements.
Free standard shipping applies to standard delivery only. It does not include special freight services, carrier accessorial fees, or special delivery requirements unless expressly stated in writing on the quote, invoice, order confirmation, or checkout page.
Free standard shipping does not include:
- Liftgate delivery
- Residential or home delivery
- Limited-access delivery
- Appointment delivery, if charged by the carrier
- Inside delivery
- Re-delivery
- Freight storage
- Waiting time
- Address correction
- Change of delivery location
- Special handling requested by the customer
- Carrier accessorial charges not included in standard delivery
Unless expressly approved in writing, additional freight services, delivery accessorials, re-delivery charges, storage charges, waiting time, address correction fees, and special handling fees are the customer’s responsibility and are non-refundable.
4. Freight Shipments
Large compressors, air dryers, tanks, and palletized products may require freight delivery. Standard freight delivery is included on eligible orders within the continental United States.
Freight shipments may require:
- Commercial delivery address
- Forklift
- Loading dock
- Correct contact phone number
- Accessible delivery location
- Adult or authorized representative present at delivery
- Delivery appointment, if required by the carrier
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location can safely receive the shipment.
5. Delivery Location Requirements
The customer is responsible for providing a delivery location that is safe, accessible, and suitable for the shipment.
The delivery location must have adequate access for the carrier, including:
- Sufficient road access
- Sufficient turning space
- Safe unloading area
- Proper equipment for unloading, if required
- Authorized person available to receive shipment
Free standard shipping applies to standard delivery only. Additional charges may apply for delivery locations or services that require special carrier handling, including:
- Residential or home delivery
- Liftgate delivery
- Farm delivery
- School delivery
- Government facility delivery
- Construction site delivery
- Storage unit delivery
- Limited-access delivery
- Gated facility delivery
- Missed appointment
- Re-delivery
- Inside delivery
- Waiting time
- Address correction
AERO Pressure Systems is not responsible for delivery delays, added fees, or failed deliveries caused by inadequate access, incorrect shipping information, lack of unloading equipment, or special delivery requirements that were not disclosed before shipment.
6. Shipping Timeframes
Estimated shipping and delivery dates are estimates only unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
Typical processing and transit estimates may vary by product and carrier. Delivery timing may also vary due to:
- Product availability
- Freight carrier scheduling
- Parcel carrier scheduling
- Supplier delays
- Import delays
- Customs delays
- Weather
- Road conditions
- Natural disasters
- Incorrect customer information
- Missed delivery appointments
- Payment delays
- Force majeure events
- Other circumstances outside our control
Once a shipment has been released to the carrier, AERO Pressure Systems is not responsible for carrier delays.
7. Backorders and Delayed Shipments
If a product is backordered or delayed, we may notify the customer using the contact information provided with the order.
Depending on the situation, we may offer:
- Continued backorder
- Alternative product
- Partial shipment
- Order cancellation, if allowed by law and applicable policy
- Refund for unavailable items, where applicable
Custom, special-order, imported, configured, or supplier-ordered products may have longer lead times and may not be cancellable once ordered, allocated, or released by the supplier or manufacturer.
8. Partial Shipments
Orders may ship in multiple shipments.
Partial shipments may occur when:
- Items are stocked in different locations
- Some items are backordered
- Freight and parcel items are included in the same order
- Products require different handling methods
- Supplier-direct shipments are used
Additional charges may apply if requested by the customer or required due to special delivery requirements.
9. Customer Responsibility at Delivery
The customer must inspect all shipments immediately upon delivery.
Before signing the delivery receipt, bill of lading, or proof of delivery, the customer must inspect for:
- Visible damage
- Crushed packaging
- Broken pallet
- Missing items
- Dented panels
- Oil leakage
- Damaged crate
- Torn shrink wrap
- Dropped or tilted equipment
- Punctured packaging
- Damaged electrical panel
- Damaged tank, dryer, or compressor
- Signs of mishandling
If damage is visible or suspected, the customer must write clear damage notes on the delivery receipt before signing.
Examples of acceptable notes:
- “Compressor arrived damaged”
- “Crate damaged”
- “Pallet broken”
- “Panel dented”
- “Possible concealed damage”
- “Subject to inspection”
- “Packaging damaged, contents subject to inspection”
10. Photos Required for Damage Claims
For damaged shipments, the customer must take photos before unpacking whenever possible.
Required photos may include:
- Entire shipment as delivered
- All sides of the packaging
- Shipping labels
- Bill of lading or delivery receipt
- Damaged pallet or crate
- Damaged packaging
- Damaged product areas
- Serial number plate, if applicable
- Any visible impact marks
- Any missing or loose parts
11. Freight Damage Claims
Freight damage must be reported to AERO Pressure Systems immediately.
The customer must provide:
- Order number
- Delivery date
- Carrier name
- Tracking or PRO number
- Photos of packaging
- Photos of damage
- Copy of delivery receipt with damage noted
- Description of damage
- Serial number, if applicable
AERO Pressure Systems may assist with a freight claim, but claim approval is subject to carrier rules, documentation, timing, and inspection.
12. Concealed Damage
Concealed damage is damage discovered after delivery when no visible damage was noted at the time of receipt.
Concealed damage must be reported as soon as discovered.
The customer must:
- Stop unpacking if damage is discovered
- Keep all packaging
- Take detailed photos
- Provide order and delivery information
- Contact AERO Pressure Systems immediately
Concealed damage claims are subject to carrier rules and may be denied by the carrier. AERO Pressure Systems does not guarantee approval of concealed damage claims.
13. Missing Items
Missing items must be reported within 3 business days of delivery.
The customer must provide:
- Order number
- Packing slip
- Photos of received items
- Photos of packaging
- Description of missing items
- Delivery receipt
- Serial number, if applicable
AERO Pressure Systems is not responsible for missing item claims reported late or without supporting documentation.
14. Incorrect Address, Special Services, or Failed Delivery
The customer is responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information before the order ships.
Free standard shipping does not cover added carrier fees caused by incorrect information, failed delivery, undisclosed delivery requirements, or special delivery services requested by the customer or required by the carrier.
Additional charges may apply for:
- Incorrect address
- Address correction
- Missed delivery appointment
- Re-delivery
- Freight storage
- Refused delivery
- Change of delivery location
- Liftgate service
- Residential or home delivery
- Limited-access delivery
- Delivery requirements not disclosed before shipment
AERO Pressure Systems is not responsible for delays, fees, or failed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete customer information.
15. Refused Shipments
Do not refuse a shipment unless AERO Pressure Systems instructs you to do so in writing.
Refused shipments may result in:
- Return freight charges
- Storage charges
- Re-delivery charges
- Inspection fees
- Handling fees
- Reduced refund eligibility
- Product damage during return transit
Refusing a shipment does not cancel the order and does not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.
16. Return Shipping
Return shipping is governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
For eligible returns:
- Customer must obtain written return authorization
- Return request must be made within 30 calendar days from the date of purchase
- Customer pays return shipping and freight costs unless approved otherwise in writing
- Customer is responsible for proper packaging
- Customer is responsible for freight damage during return shipment
- Unused, untouched products in original packaging may qualify for a 100% product refund after inspection and approval
- Approved used returns may qualify for a 35% product refund after inspection and approval
- Refunds are issued only after the returned product is received, inspected, and approved
Original shipping, freight, liftgate, residential delivery, limited-access delivery, and carrier accessorial charges are non-refundable unless required by law or approved by AERO Pressure Systems in writing.
17. Customer Pickup
Customer pickup may be available only if approved by AERO Pressure Systems in writing.
If pickup is approved, the customer is responsible for:
- Scheduling pickup
- Providing suitable vehicle or trailer
- Securing the load
- Compliance with transport laws
- Proper loading equipment, if required
- Inspecting the product before leaving
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the product is picked up.
AERO Pressure Systems is not responsible for damage, loss, improper securement, or transportation issues after customer pickup.
18. Title and Risk of Loss
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, title and risk of loss transfer to the customer when the product is delivered to the carrier, freight provider, customer, distributor, or delivery destination, depending on the shipping terms stated on the quote, invoice, order, or written agreement.
For customer pickup, title and risk of loss transfer when the product is released to the customer or customer’s representative.
19. International Shipping
International shipping may be available only if approved in writing.
Free standard shipping does not apply to international orders, Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or other locations outside the continental United States unless expressly approved in writing.
For international orders, the customer is responsible for:
- Import duties
- Taxes
- Customs fees
- Brokerage fees
- Permits
- Local compliance
- Import restrictions
- Destination-country requirements
- Electrical and product approval requirements
AERO Pressure Systems is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, destination-country code issues, or additional fees charged by customs, brokers, carriers, or government agencies.
20. Force Majeure
AERO Pressure Systems is not liable for shipping delays or failure to deliver caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:
- Carrier delays
- Supplier delays
- Import delays
- Customs delays
- Natural disasters
- Fire
- Flood
- Earthquake
- Labor disputes
- War
- Government action
- Power outage
- System outage
- Cyberattack
- Pandemic
- Material shortages
- Transportation disruption
- Other events outside our reasonable control
