AERO All-in-One VSD7.5 — 7.5 HP Single-Phase Compressor System
These are single-phase rotary screw air compressors (1-phase, 220V) for shops that cannot get 3-phase service: small body shops, home-based mechanics, detail shops and serious garages. All three models use a permanent magnet variable speed drive motor, a direct-drive airend with no belt, a 145 PSI maximum pressure, a 65 dB(A) enclosure, and a 100% continuous duty rating. The VSD motor slows when demand drops instead of cycling on and off like a piston compressor.
How to choose between the three models
- AERO VSD5.5: 5.5 HP, 18 CFM at 100 PSI (15.9 CFM at 145 PSI), 42-gallon ASME tank, 16A full-load current. Enough for one tech running an impact gun, a DA sander or a blow gun. Quoted per shop.
- AERO VSD7.5: 7.5 HP, 24 CFM at 100 PSI (20.8 CFM at 145 PSI), 42-gallon ASME tank, 22A full-load current. The pick when two people use air at the same time on intermittent tools. Quoted per shop.
- AERO All-in-One VSD7.5: the same 7.5 HP and 24 CFM, on a 53-gallon ASME tank with an integrated refrigerated dryer and filtration, 25A full-load current. For paint, body work and detailing, where water in the line ruins the job. From $8,450.

All three run on 220V, 60 Hz, single-phase. Have a licensed electrician size the circuit to the full-load current listed above and local code.
Lead time, freight and financing
The All-in-One VSD7.5 ships early November; the VSD5.5 and VSD7.5 are quoted per shop, with the lead time confirmed on the quote. Freight is free to commercial addresses in the continental US; each product page shows current availability. Financing through PEAC Solutions is available on orders of $5,000 or more, and you can apply for financing online.
